Symbols of ShUM - Zine

SO excited! These just arrived from Budapest and I am so happy to hold them in my hands - and carry them in the shop!

This new Zine includes the symbols from Jewish heritage of the Schum cities of Speyer, Worms, and Mainz. It is created by Judit Borsi (illustration) and Bence Illyés (research and texts).

The ShUM cities of Speyer, Worms and Mainz refer to the cluster of three Jewish communities from the High Middle Ages: Shpira (Sh), Warmaisa (W=U), and Magenza (M).

What an honour to hold it in my hands in Toronto and share it with all of you ❤️
