"Our spiral-bound Jewish daily planner Dreaming the World to Come is back for 5785. We are launching this year’s planner almost 9 months into the most horrific Nakba we have ever witnessed in real time. The g e n o c i d e in G a z a has fragmented the Jewish community along lines of Empire, and we are mired in the goo that lives in those fissures. ⁣

It’s been hard for many of us to know how to connect to our Jewishness at this time. Being visibly, passionately opposed to the genocidal actions of Israel and the U.S. is a way back to ourselves. We want our descendants to be able to find us. We want to leave a useful, beautiful map so that they know we were here. We carry hope for a future where Jewishness is alive and thriving in collaboration with all other people. A future where we are not living inside and complicit with violent settler colonial nation-states. ⁣

⁣We can’t map a direct line from here to there. We have to navigate in the dark and so our work right now is familiarizing ourselves with the darkness. ⁣
