These kippot are made by Toronto artist Alan Gotlib. They are unlined, unique, and handmade.
And now....a note from the creator:
Alan Gotlib, a Jewish gay man, is well aware of the negative impact of labels on society. His hope is that his label, “Fashion by FEIGELE,” will bring a smile to people’s faces and, in some small way, change the way people see diversity in our community. For those who don’t know, “feigele” is a Yiddish word that means “little bird.” However, it’s also a slang term for a gay man, which, for Alan, makes it a very appropriate label. His father, may he rest in peace, would have appreciated it, as he had a corny sense of humour which Alan has inherited.
